I don't know what I'll do once the last of my Radio 4 podcasts drops it's #RSS feed and becomes an app. http://microblog.ourcoffs.org.au/url/74193 #BBC

    Woah. Just saw my first #podcast #RSS icon that's actually a link to #iTunes. That's f***ed up.

!GNUsocial can import an #Atom or #RSS feed with #PubSubHubub into a timeline. Select "Settings, Mirroring, Atom or RSS feed" (I'm still on the StatusNet code, so your menu selections may be slightly different)

Have been reading newspaper websites in recent months 'cos this s**t's getting real and I've felt obliged to keep up. Now feel like I've been wading through a sewer, and I need to go back to my #RSS info-bubble. Why yes, your quirky new take on Kant _does_ require my attention!

"Media Unimpressed as #Sanders Barely Gets Seventy Per Cent of Vote" http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/media-unimpressed-as-sanders-barely-gets-seventy-per-cent-of-vote Yes, I'm behind on my #RSS feeds. Why do you ask?

@r7 Ha. Added to the #RSS feeds that have consumed my life and now require a belief in some sort of post-singularity mental cloning to appear realistically surmountable.

Another day, another cracked #Wordpress instance turns up in my #RSS feeds. I'm 99% sure that Cambridge economist Ha-Joon Chang isn't really interested in "How to play poker for money online".

#RSS tips the attention balance in favour of sites that have fewer, better, articles/podcasts/videos/whatever (never say 'content' unless in scare quotes) over 'content creators' (like that, okay?) who measure value in column inches/minutes/whatever per day. #IWantMyRSS

@panda We need to set up a charity: "Save the Feeds". Also a browser plugin that automatically redirects to a neatly-rendered #RSS feed if available, to save us from the bewildering too-clever-by-half layouts and swooshy-swoopy #JavaScript effects.

So a website has no #RSS feed, but has a 'Subscribe' page where you can give them your email address, or 'follow' them on one or more of the popular data mining services, alongside the claim that 'We respect your privacy'. No, you don't! You very clearly and avidly do not!

I certainly don't need a publisher's idea of what I'm supposed to be interested in, which is then filtered through #Facebook's idea of what I'm supposed to be interested in. Just give me an #RSS feed. I can take it from there.
