  1. # is # Stephen Hawking biopic. Don't get it. Arrogant and unlikeable people, physicists. Not like philosophers.

  2. @tregeagle I'm still recalibrating my device mix since inheriting #'s old # phone. MP3 player is gone (& I no longer have to transcode OGG files!). Little bit of reading = phone. Lot of reading and/or little bit of typing = # Lot of typing = desktop.

  3. # is watching a film starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. A missed opportunity; all you needed was to throw Sandra Bullock and Ben Stiller into the mix and you'd have a timeless cinema classic.

  4. @tregeagle If you're on duty tonight, keep an eye out for Auntie Chez. She and # have been hanging around all day waiting for a bed. GP f***ed around with her medication again. I wish he'd stop doing that.

  5. Had a shave this morning, as I'd been sporting the full # chin barnet for some time. # only noticed at 7pm, and only then because she saw the razor by the bathroom sink.

  6. # bought some supermarket-baked "triple-choc cookies", and I'm hooked. They're so unappetising, so barely categorisable as food, that there's something majestic about the indifference which must have gone into preparing them.

  7. I can't really afford beer. Thankfully # is an impulse shopper. Nail polish remover, a dash of essential oil (patchouli & lemongrass this evening), & soda is quite palatable. Ensuing burps have been found to have a calming effect & help focus the minds of those around you.

  8. Quite enjoyed the # Christmas special, tho' that may have been due to the company of @tregeagle, #, & half of # at the pictures. Matt Lucas was not as Bonnie Langford as I feared, and Moffat put his sitcom muscles to good use.

  9. Getting pissed with # & her auntie, # to the # Hope everybody else in the best corner of the # is similarly enjoying this weird annual commemoration of a very fine Jewish fundamentalist moral philosopher who died ~2000 years ago and is still stone dead.

  10. Back from mini-hols. Fun day with # on the Western # food trail, thence south to my mum's birthday party. Ears ringing from relatives who can only embellish their primitive utterances with additional volume.

  11. On forced holiday in # from tomorrow for reasons that escape me. # thought I should contact old friends. "Hi! I'm now fat, old, and hopelessly miserable. Come share the experience with me for a while!" That's what the # is for.

  12. # is currently calculating how much superannuation we've lost due to the # bump. I never expected anything would be left to collect anyway.

  13. @tregeagle I tried doing the same. Then I gave up and just watched it twice. On my third go through now with # who I assumed would hate it, but she's completely into it.

  14. @tregeagle Forward it on to # Her dog is now whimpering plaintively most of the day, and has just worked out that midnight barking can attract the attention it craves. Come to think of it, maybe I should borrow that strategy.

  15. @lnxw48 I was on hold at home till # said #! we can't afford the phone call. Went into town and used their phone to call their call centre.

  16. I caught # studying the central nervous system today, and was all set to tell her some interesting facts about glial cells, but realised it would sound like "Did you know you've got four miles of tubing in your stomach?"

  17. # is re-re-rewatching Outlander. The dialogue must make gripping reading: "[scream] [howl] [scream] [grunt] [grunt] [scream] [groan]".

  18. My first bicycle was a blue Nock and Kirby's dragster. # doesn't even remember Joe the Gadget Man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CCS8WRUAUM #

  19. #'s laptop is the only device left in the house that can read CD/DVDs. Should really rip and bin them all. Keeping my vinyl turntable, though. Never mind the scratches, feel the warmth.

  20. @tregeagle # swears by those tissues infused with soothing aloe vera. If it gets really bad try blowing your nose on cherubs' wings. They are harder to come by, but well worth the price.
